In the past year (2006-2007) we have raised over £2,000 which is going to be spent on new gym equipment for the school hall. Events have included :
Bangers and Bingo - hot dogs, hot soup and a lively bingo session in the school hall on a Friday evening. A great way for new parents to feel involved in the school, for old parents to catch up after the summer break…and for everyone to try and keep up with the caller!
The Christmas Fair – music, mince pies, games, storytelling, a lucky dip (and a yucky dip for the brave!), craft, face-painting and lots more. The Christmas Fair is our biggest fundraiser of the year.
Easter Egg Hunt – on the last day of the Spring term the children searched the playground for their own decorated paper egg and were rewarded with…chocolate! Most of the school (and siblings) took part and it was a lovely way to end the term.
Midsummer Madness Party – held in June, this event raised almost £1,000 in just 2 hours! The school hall looked beautiful decked out with bunting and the live music from talented children, staff and parents contributed hugely to the success of the event.
